This week we decided to make something special for someone special who invited us to his birthday that was coming up.  Which is Duffy, Duffy’s having his 30th birthday so we chose to make a him something which are designed boxes that will have something special inside.

First we received a class slide form our teacher were we needed to add your our names to a slide.  Next we needed to find images of inspiration for our design, we also needed to explain what our plan is.

Then we show our teacher to make sure if it was “simple, Large & Panitable” before we start sketching out our plan on a box (One Each). Lastly we added the colours we would need too complete out painting.  I chose to do a Galaxy theme because I thought that would be cool and easy and very large. (My Slide Only)

This week for art we have been learning about Camera Shots and Angles, Specifically to “Understand & describe different camera shots and angles”.  First we discussed as a class all the diferent camera shots and angles.  Next we moved on to completing a task about different camre shot and angles.

Then we had to sort the camera shot and picture so they match, match up the different types of camera angles to their definitions then draw a picture of what each camera angle looks like,  Explain the effect of this high angle shot. What does it make the viewer feel about the relationship between the people and animals?, Identify the type of angle used to photograph this bird and explain the impact of this choice, Explain the impact of the direct gaze used in the image to the left. How does it make the viewer feel?, Describe the body language and gaze in the image above and explain the effect, Explain how the colour choices in in the image above contribute to a sombre mood, Identify the type of shot used in the image above and explain how it might make a viewer feel,Identify the salient object or focus of the photograph, Lastly Explain why you think this image has been portrayed this way? Why could that object be the most important?  I enjoyed this task because learning about the different camera shots and angles were interesting.

I did good at answering each question, I just need to approve on adding more detail.

Last week for Samoan language week we learnt about samoan related topics.

First we learnt about Samoan tapa cloths and the patterns on them.

Next we practice how to draw those patterns on our Chromebooks.

Lastly we made our own design the printed it out to dye it brown just like a real tapa cloth.

I enjoyed this task because it had something to do with my culture.

I did good at practicing but I need to approve on design a tapa cloth better.
