PB4L – Problem Solving

LI : Use CANVA to create a poster that teaches someone how to be a problem solver.

First we needed to go to canva and create our own poster with 4 steps that teaches someone hos to be a problem solver.  Then after we are don’t we needed to add our name.  Lastly I showed my teacher and blogged.  I did good at making 5 steps that teaches someone something but need to approve on focusing.

Respect

This week the subject for PB4L was “Respect” because it was Maori Languge week which was like respect week.  First we had discussions about respect for example “What does respect look like?” and “What should you do to show respect?”.

Then we needed to create one of the following. (poster, slideshow, animation or use Canva to create a poster about respect).  Lastly we added decoration before showing out teacher.  I enjoyed this task because I like talking about respect.  I did good at adding infomation  about respect .

Māori Proverbs – Whakatauki Proverbs

LI : Use CANVA to create a poster of a Māori proverb.

First we had to go to CANVA.COM and create a poster.  Make sure to include the whakatauki in Māori and and the English translation aswell. We also  ADD YOUR NAME.  My meaning of my whakatauki in Māori is similar to not putting all your eggs in one basket. You could also consider this as Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched.

P.B.S (Pause Breathe Smile)

This week for Pause Breathe Smile we have been focusing on Hauora(wellbeing). Hauora is a Māori word for wellbeing and a philosophy of health unique to New Zealand and Maori culture.

The 4 walls of a Whare, a sacred Māori meeting house is used to represent the 4 dimensions of Hauora.

Which are Taha Wairua, Taha Tinana, Taha Hinengaro & Taha Whānau which means, Spritual, Physical, Mental/Emontional & Family/social wellbeings.

Lastly all that learning and discussing, we each made our own Whare to represent Hauora.
