Throughout this year, our Writing group has learnt different aspects of writing a narrative story.
This week’s task was to “finish” 6 stories we chose out of the slides Miss Tele’a provided.
My favourite ending I wrote was for the story was the (you can do anything), because that was the most creative ending so far I did.
I did well at writing the endings but I need to improve on being more creative.
I enjoyed this task because I can make up my own endings.
This week for cybersmart we larnt on how to take care of our chromebooks.
Frst I had to watched a video and take note on the top tips on how to take care of your chromebook.
Then I had to choose how I will share my learning about the kawa of care and how to look after my device.(Device or Comic)
Lastly I chose Gif and I had to follow the the step in order to make it.
Create a new slide deck named ‘Kawa of Care GIF’ in your Cybersmart folder.
Choose ONE top tip of how to look after your Chromebook.
Create three slides, each with it’s own photo, to show your top tip. Resize from the corner to fill the slide.
Change the page setup (under file) to standard 4:3, rather than wide screen. This will make your photo fit exactly to the page.
Create a text box that stays the same across all three slides.
I did good at making this gif bi=ut I need to work on making it longer.
I enjoyed this task because I like making Gifs.
Fakaalofa lahi atu! This week is Niuean Language Week. Our task was to create a two different posters to do with the Niuean language and culture and practice introducing ourselves. The first was a poster with phrases and greetings in Niuean language. The second was a fact file with different information about Niue. On the last slide I have introduced myself in Niuean. I have learnt that fakaalofa means hello. I have also learnt that Monuina e aho means have a nice day.
I did well at creating one of the DLO but I didn’t do good at fitting all of the info into it.
I need to improve on adding more info.
I enjoyed this task because I got to create a DLO.
This week for PB4L we learnt on how to take good care of your belongings and why.
First we had to answer questions on a jamboard.
Then we had to create a DLO explaning on why we should take care our belongings and some rules.
Lastly I bloged it at the end.
I did good at adding the rules but what I didn’t do good at was explaning more detailed.
I enjoyed doing this task because we was aloowed to desgn it.
This term for inquiry our topic was Enterprise. We had to add our Google Form we created in the paste to a spreadsheet we needed to do.
First we had to answer other students form basically the student on the top and the bottom of your name was the students we had to answer their forms. Then we had to create a spreadsheet of our responses from the students that filled it out.
Next when I finished those tasks I moved on to answer some questions on a DLO about our responses I recived.
Lastly I had answered all the question(on the DLO) Icarred on to bloging it.
I did good at answering the question but I didn’t do good at adding more detail to the DLO.
I enjoyed it because poeple answered my form.
This week for reading we larnt about literal questions.
First we to answer literal questions using the text on the side.
Then we had to write at the end our own questions and story.
Lastly I had to blog it.
I did good at writing the questions but I didn’t do good at writing the story.
I enjoyed it because we had to make up a story at the end or a real story.
Today for writing we revised the TREE structure (Title, Reason, Events & Ending)
First we discuss on what we should put on our DLO of the TREE structure.
Then we went off to start it.We had to change the whole DLO making it look different (Fonts, Background & colour)
Lastly I had to finished this poster and blog it before we finished writing.
I did good at making it look different but what I didn’t do good at was adding more detail to it.
I enjoyed it because we had to make it look like how I wanted it to look like.
This week for math we did revision.
First we had to answer a document we maths questions to begin with. It got harder every question.
Then we had to create a DLO with different word equations : addition, subtraction, multiplaction & divide bys.
Lastly I end up bloging it.
I did good at add the question but I didn’t do good solving the doc with the math questions.
Ienjoyed it because at the end we had to make a DLO.
This week we had to fill in our must do list to 120 so im bloging this extra piece of work.
I did good at answering the question but what I didn’t do good at was doning times and subtractions.
I enjoyed it because it was to do with maths.
This week for reading we did an SSR.
First we had to answer quizes on read theory before moving on.
Then we had choose a book to read it in order to do the SSR selfie.
Lastly I bloged it.
I did good at the SSR but what I didn’t do good at was answering the question.
I enjoyed answering the questions the most.
