HPE: shot ball

 

First thing we did for HPE was get in two lines before discussing how the game would go. First we had to grab a metal ball, the blue one for the girls and the green ones for the boys. We had to take a ball from the bucket and leave it on your neck that should be touching each other.

 

Then your elbow should be left up rather than push and not throw and as it got closer to my turn I’ve seen a lot of good pushes.Then it was my turn then I pushed as hard as I could and I made it into the inter school until another person pushed there ball further than I did.

 

Next our coach picked two of the best from both genders (Boys and Girls)  for the inter schools. Then after everyone had a turn we played another game.Was that we had to throw bean bags in hoops and goals. 

 

In order to get more points to win the hoops were 5, 10 and 15 points for each we got and the first team got 145 points and my team got 155 we were close but we won.

 

Lastly we said \thank you to our coach before we left to go back to class and we all felt proud after winning but still said GGs to the other team.

This term we had to make a design for our own pencil case and a bookmarks.

First I had to make a design from my google form for the gala and make a design of it.

Next, my secound design was to make a other design I liked.

Lastly I did space theme designs for only the bookmarks.

I did good at making the designs but what I didn’t do good at was making more then two designs for the pensil case.

I enjoyed it because my favourite ones were the two I put t=on the DLO here.

This week for maths we had to draw graph according to our gala form.

First I had to to pick a question two questions from my gala form and add it to my graph. Then I had to draw the y axis and the x axis with a ruler vefore I add the numbers.

Next I had to write four “I can see” statements to show which ones is higher lower and mid.

Lastly I bloged it.

I did good at drawing the graph but I need to apporve on writing the four I can sees better.

I ejoyed it because I like maths.

This term for reading we are studying about novel books.

First we had to make predictions on a form that was linked for us about the book we were about to read.

Then we had to make a copy of a log doc to use to summarise after reading the novel.

Lastly we had to make a copy of the SSR selfie DLO to summarise the stroy in small words.

I did good at reading the novel but I need to approve on summariseing.

I enjoy this task because I had to summarise.

Throughout this year, our Writing group has learnt different aspects of writing a narrative story.

This week’s task was to “finish” 6 stories we chose out of the slides Miss Tele’a provided. 

My favourite ending I wrote was for the story was the (you can do anything), because that was the most creative ending so far I did. 

I did well at writing the endings but I need to improve on being more creative.

I enjoyed this task because I can make up my own endings.

This week for cybersmart we larnt on how to take care of our chromebooks.

Frst I had to watched a video and take note on the top tips on how to take care of your chromebook.

Then I had to choose how I will share my learning about the kawa of care and how to look after my  device.(Device or Comic)

Lastly I chose Gif and I had to follow the the step in order to make it.

Create a new slide deck named ‘Kawa of Care GIF’ in your Cybersmart folder.

Choose ONE top tip of how to look after your Chromebook.

Create three slides, each with it’s own photo, to show your top tip. Resize from the corner to fill the slide.

Change the page setup (under file) to standard 4:3, rather than wide screen. This will make your photo fit exactly to the page.

Create a text box that stays the same across all three slides.

I did good at making this gif bi=ut I need to work on making it longer.

I enjoyed this task because I like making Gifs.

 

Fakaalofa lahi atu! This week is Niuean Language Week.  Our task was to create a two different posters to do with the Niuean language and culture and practice introducing ourselves.  The first was a poster with phrases and greetings in Niuean language.  The second was a fact file with different information about Niue. On the last slide I have introduced myself in Niuean.  I have learnt that fakaalofa means hello.  I have also learnt that Monuina e aho means have a nice day. 

I did well at creating one of the DLO but I didn’t do good at fitting all of the info into it.

I need to improve on adding more info.

I enjoyed this task because I got to create a DLO.

This week for PB4L we learnt on how to take good care of your belongings and why.

First we had to answer questions on a jamboard.

Then we had to create a DLO explaning on why we should take care our belongings and some rules.

Lastly I bloged it at the end.

I did good at adding the rules but what I didn’t do good at was explaning more detailed.

I enjoyed doing this task because we was aloowed to desgn it.

This term for inquiry our topic was Enterprise. We had to add our Google Form we created in the paste to a spreadsheet we needed to do.

First we had  to answer other students form basically the student on the top and the bottom of your name was the students we had to answer their forms.  Then we had to create a spreadsheet of our responses from the students that filled it out.

Next when I finished those tasks I moved on to answer some questions on a DLO about our responses I recived.

Lastly I had answered all the question(on the DLO) Icarred on to bloging it.

I did good at answering the question but I didn’t do good at adding more detail to the DLO.

I enjoyed it because poeple answered my form.
